If you want to see your name 

etched into concrete commemorating your generosity,

you will not want to read this letter.

This is a letter for generous people who would like to give

and hear the echoes of change in the hearts of children.  

• Your giving will put a dent in the drug pusher's profit.  
• Your giving will silence verbal, emotional and physical abuse. 
• Your giving will create a safe space for children to feel valued. 
• Your giving will give children an opportunity to walk away from gangs.
• Your giving will create businesses through the YWAP Entrepreneurial Incubation Program.
• Your giving will take guns out of children's hands.
• Your giving will help teach young people how to form healthy relationships.
• Your giving will help children learn how to climb the mountains of life.
• Your giving will never stop giving; it will be multiplied, duplicated and will become residual.

As you fill the heart of a child with opportunity, 

that child's heart overflows with contagiousness 

that spills into the hearts of more children.

What does YWAP do?

• A Community Outreach/After School Program 5 days a week year round.
• We serve about 40 healthy snacks and hot dinners 5 days a week.(approx. 7,000/yr)
• Our Relationship Mentoring Program reaches 100's of students in class during the school day. All aspects of relationship building are covered in including: suicide, bullying, business creation, respect for authority, self accountability, discipline and more. Our goal is to be in every Buffalo School.
• The Wilderness Adventure Program takes young people into the Adirondack Mountains. We teach life survival skills that help them climb the mountains of life.
• YWAP Leadership Camps are designed as retreats that promote healing and understanding.

Our Youth Center has only had 8 people work in our kitchen and 3 of those people have had family members murdered by a bullet to the head. We are located in one of the poorest and most dangerous sections of Buffalo. All of the families who live here are at risk. We need your help.

Through your giving, you will promote healing, understanding and business creation that will be contagious and residual. We are asking you to help support Youth With A Purpose financially. All one time gifts, monthly support and Program Sponsorships will be residual because they keep creating more opportunities for young people to grow.
